How long does it take to set up?

Getting started takes approximately 15 minutes. You create your account, verify your email, enable two-factor authentication (2FA), and complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) process. Once approved, you can start accepting payments immediately.

What payment methods are supported?

How does fraud protection work?

Privex Pay uses AI-powered, real-time fraud detection. The system analyses transaction patterns and behavioural signals to identify and block fraudulent activity before it affects your account. All merchants are also subject to ongoing monitoring, including daily transaction and activity reviews.

What is the fee?

Privex Pay charges a flat 10% fee per transaction. There are no monthly fees, no setup fees, and no hidden charges. The fee is deducted automatically from your transaction proceeds before your payout is sent.

Is Privex Pay PCI compliant?

Yes. Privex Pay is certified to PCI DSS Level 1 — the highest level of payment security certification. All payment data is protected with bank-grade 256-bit encryption and tokenization.

Do you support international payments?

Do you support high-risk businesses?

When do I get paid?

Payouts are initiated every Monday for all cleared transactions from the previous period. There is no minimum payout amount, so your balance is released regardless of size. Funds are sent to the bank account or crypto wallet you designate in your Merchant Dashboard.

What is a Merchant of Record?

A Merchant of Record (MoR) is the legal entity that sells your products to buyers in its own name, receives and holds buyer payments, and is responsible for taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and compliance.

When you use Privex Pay, Privex Pay is the Merchant of Record — not you. This means Privex Pay handles the legal and financial complexity of each sale on your behalf, including tax calculation and remittance, refund processing, and chargeback management.

Is there a minimum payout amount?

No. There is no minimum payout amount. Your cleared balance is paid out every Monday regardless of the total amount.
