When to use payment links
Payment links work well for any situation where you need to collect payment outside of a traditional checkout flow:- Freelancers and service providers — send a link to a client after completing work
- Creators and educators — sell digital products, courses, or content without building a storefront
- Service businesses — collect deposits, retainers, or one-off payments by SMS or email
- Events and pop-ups — display a QR code for in-person payments without a card terminal

What gets generated

Paste the link directly into the body of your email or invoice. You can also attach the QR code image as a visual alternative.
